Our SMSOUTH Brand raw edge belt type with molded cog which is temperature and oil resistant as well as antistatic. The belts are tolerance stable, such that belts with the same section and length marking can be used immediately in matched sets. The molded cog provides high flexibility and a good fit in the pulley grooves as well as lower operating temperature which increase belt life. 

The effectiveness of raw edge cogged belts is evident where the pulley diameters are extremely small, belt speed requirement is high, high levels of power transmissions are required, operating temperatures are quite high, Usage of wrapped construction belts is rendered expensive proposition and impractical.

Cushion layer: the adhesive CR rubber compound or EPDM rubber compound. Gear tooth core:  The CR compound with traverse fiber compound or EPDM rubber with traverse fiber compound The cover fabric of Moulded cogs: Sheer strength polyamide
